Transition Radiation Detectors for the Third Millennium (TRD2003 workshop summary)

Michael L. Cherry, Louisiana State University

Abstract

Much of the discussion at the Second Workshop on Transition Radiation Detectors for the Third Millenium concerned large, new detectors for astrophysics (i.e., cosmic ray) measurements in space; the progress and problems associated with upcoming accelerator experiments; and the validity and accuracy of simulation programs. I will review those discussions briefly here. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
