Abstract

We study the effect of electron-electron interactions on the impurity-averaged transport properties of a disordered metal ring or array. We show that the inclusion of these interactions does not change the periodicity with flux when an impurity average is performed. We prove this statement in the context of a tight-binding Hubbard model for a ring with a symmetric distribution of on-site energies. © 1985 The American Physical Society.
