Abstract
An anamolous number of dimuon events in a high-energy neutrino beam was experimentally observed using NuTeV detector. Three μμ events were observed over an expected standard model background of 0.069 ∓ 0.010 events. It was shown that the rate corresponding to the observed three events were not consistent with standard model processes.
