Two-dimensional Brownian motion and fluctuating hydrodynamics
We derive the generalized Langevin equation for the motion of a hard disk in a two-dimensional incompressible fluid using a fluctuating hydrodynamical treatment. We show that our results are consistent with the fluctuation-dissipation theorem. © 1990.
