Use of iron lenses for the transport of muon beams

Abstract
It is shown that axial current lenses made of iron can be used efficiently for focusing and transporting high energy muon beams. A model lens was constructed and its focal properties as obtained by measuring the deflection of high energy muons, are presented. © 1977.
