Spectroscopy with radioactive ion beams at the HRIBF for nuclear astrophysics
Proton elastic scattering, proton inelastic scattering, proton transfer reactions and the (d, p) neutron transfer reaction have been measured in inverse kinematics with radioactive ion beams at the HRIBF to determine the properties of nuclear excited states that are important in stellar explosions. The experimental techniques and some initial results are briefly summarized. © 2005 IOP Publishing Ltd.
