Thermal expansion of epoxies between 2 and 300°K
Abstract
A simple apparatus for measuring relative thermal expansions down to very low temperatures is described. The thermal expansions are given for a number of commercial epoxy resins. The effect of loading epoxies with fused quartz powder is described. Several epoxies are found to match the thermal expansions of the common metals. © 1968 The American Institute of Physics.
