Single-cycle pulse generation by filamentation in noble gases
We present an efficient mechanism to generate isolated infrared single-cycle pulses in noble gases, through a controlled filamentation process. We demonstrate that these pulses are able to produce isolated attosecond pulses. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
