New algebraic approach for an exact solution of the nuclear mean-field plus orbit-dependent pairing hamiltonian
Abstract
An infinite dimensional algebraic approach is introduced to derive exact particle-number conserving solutions of the nuclear mean-field plus separable orbit-dependent pairing Hamiltonian. As examples, some low-lying levels, spectroscopic factors, and even-odd mass differences of 58-65 Ni isotopes are calculated and compared with experimental values, shell model, and equal strength pairing results.
