Welcome to Comparative Woman!

Comparative Woman is an online journal with the aim to create an environment which explores topics related to comparative literature and women/gender studies through art and academic essays from a multitude of perspectives. We seek to give artists a platform for reflecting on their thoughts and experiences according to each issue’s theme to present our readers with unique, diverse, and thought-provoking art while also exposing our readers to scholarly work on art and other forms created by women and the LGBTQ+ community or about women and the LGBTQ+ community in mediums both in and outside of the Western Literary Canon. .

The Journal of Latin American Geography builds upon the tradition of the CLAG Yearbook, which published a selection of peer-reviewed papers by distinguished geographers and other scholars from 1985 until 2002. The editorial team works with a multi-disciplinary, international editorial board to promote the publication of original, high quality, and refereed manuscripts that represent the broad spectrum of geographic perspectives on and from Latin America.
