The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship and Informations Systems offers a bachelor of science in entrepreneurship designed to teach, coach, and inspire students to be entrepreneurial in their lives. This “paired-degree” is available to any student as long as he or she is working toward another bachelor’s degree at LSU. The program provides students the tools and experiences necessary to creatively pursue new opportunities and innovation in different contexts. Students study how to operate, grow, and manage their own business; how to be creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial in an existing organization; and/or how to generate new wealth and create social change that results in improved quality-of-life, greater morale, and economic freedom in the development of their community. A minor is also available to students who wish to forgo the paired-degree option.
