This is the script for an interactive game prototype. Currently, there are two protagonists, Jordan and Alex. Both of them live in an extended-stay hotel. The player can control one of them at a time and, through a choice-based narrative, find out more about them as well as the other non-player characters in the game. The narrative voice is modeled after classic adventure games such as Colossal Cave Adventure and therefore uses second person in order to direct the player and make them feel more immersed in the story. As a formatting note, the playable version of the game was made in Twine, which uses HTML and CSS to display the text; because of this, the text includes HTML tags such as brackets to denote clickable choices, and the script is divided into blocks of text with the different revealed text afterward according to the choice one would click in the playable version of the game.
