ON THE QUADRATIC COST FUNCTIONAL FOR LINEAR TIME DELAY AND TWO-DIMENSIONAL SYSTEMS.
It has been established that a Lyapunov approach yields an effective way for evaluation of the quadratic cost functional for certain stable linear systems. The extent to which this approach can be applied to time-delay-type systems and two-dimensional systems is investigated. A novel approach is used to derive a closed-form expression for evaluation of the integral-squared-error for time-delay system with commensurate delays.
