ON STABILIZATION INDEPENDENT OF DELAY WITH A FINITE DIMENSIONAL COMPENSATOR.
Stabilizability independent of the delay duration is considered as a design objective when synthesizing a finite-dimensional compensator to be used in a feedback loop. It is demonstrated that a certain first-level realization must have some one-dimensional stabilizability properties. Two examples are given to illustrate the results.
