Proton NMR study of the conformation of ring D and its side chains in chlorophyll derivatives
The complex multiplet proton NMR pattem at 360 MHz of the propionic side chains in methyl pheophorbides and a pheofarnesin derived from bacaterioclorophyll-d is completely analyzed; the major preferred orientation in solution is found to be different from that determined by single crystal X-ray studies. © 1981.
