Abstract
This work considers the frontal curing of an epoxy resin, EPON 862, with and without filter to determine the quality of the product produced and compare it to a batch curing method. The epoxy resin diglycidyl ether of bisphenol formaldehyde was cured in stoichiometric ratio with an aliphatic curing agent. DMA was used to study the mechanical behavior of cured samples under constant rate of heating. Tensile properties of the epoxy resin were tested according to ASTM D638M-93.
