Abstract

Three Sides To Every Story is a love triangle that unfolds in the voices of Tonya, James, and Johnny. The story is set in pre-Katrina, New Orleans in the lower Ninth Ward that deals with many societal and familial issues of poverty, drugs, relationships, gay community, black men in prison, homophobia, and AIDS. The objective was to provide a glimpse of what it was like for residents who lived in the Ninth Ward before Hurricane Katrina and to tell that story for both entertainment and educational value.
