The Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management is dedicated to providing the construction industry with a graduate ready to accept the challenges of today's global market. As a student in the program, you will receive an extensive education designed to prepare you to successfully manage the construction process. Students will take courses in engineering, construction, design, and business. This inter-disciplinary approach gives our students greater flexibility and makes them very marketable to employers.

Our graduates enter the construction industry in various positions with the ability to lead, problem solve and use innovative applications on their projects. They quickly become valued members of a construction team and participate in planning, cost estimating, scheduling, supervision, and commissioning of a complete facility in a timely, safe and quality manner.

Our construction management undergraduate degree program was established in 1972 and has been accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) since 1982. The construction management MS graduate program has been accredited by the ACCE since 2016.
